Huh? You don't necessarily need to hear to read Braille, I looked it up - apparantly she knew sign language as well. There are specialist schools for the blind.
You know Mozart and Beethoven both had hearing loss? And they were both master musicians - the human mind is fascinating.
I only said that just because if you don't know the name of something you can't really tell what it is, but then again I could be wrong
